The Second Forum on China-Africa Media Cooperation was held here on Monday.
The day-long event was aimed to deepen cultural and people-to-people exchanges, and promote the development of a new China-Africa strategic partnership.
The media forum –set up under the framework agreements of the Fifth Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation –is “held every two years in either China or Africa to advance the development of relations between the two sides.
Fuchao, Minister of China’s State General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, said”practical and effective measures have been taken for deepening cooperation in five key areas, namely inter-governmental communication and dialogue, exchanges and cooperation between media on both sides, exchanges of technology and industries’ cooperation, building of human resources and international exchanges.”
