The directors of Arab news agencies who participated at the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA)'s 42nd General Assembly Meeting lauded the distinctive organization of FANA's successful conference hosted in Bahrain on November 24-25 .
The directors of participating Arab news agencies have expressed their gratitude to His Royal Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for their kind patronage and reception to the participating members.
They told Bahrain News Agency that they have felt the extent of efforts exerted in preparations and arrangement for FANA's latest conference hosted in Bahrain in which many officials from Arab news agencies participated in addition to leading specialists and experts, students, media professional, and praised the good organisation by the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) Bahrain News Agency (BNA) in particular, and their preparations the dialogue session at the University of Bahrain (UoB) which resulted in matching ideas and expertise of journalists, media professionals and academicians.
They also praised the outcomes and resolutions of the conference which contribute towards the interest of developing professional work in Arab news agencies as national institutions, especially as the meetings discussed various key issues related to the public budget, relations with bodies and organisations in the region, and discussed the applications received by FANA's General-Secretariat from some Arab news agencies requesting FANA membership, etc.
