Dubai Media City, in partnership with Thomson Reuters, today hosted a blood donation drive, an initiative aligned with the UAE’s #Year of Giving.
Home to over 25,000 professionals, Dubai Media City continues to encourage 'community first' initiatives, that benefit people across the UAE. The drive gathered a total of 72 donors, who were keen to give back to their community.
Commenting on the event, Majed Al Suwaidi, Managing Director of Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City, and Dubai Production City, said, "Dubai Media City’s vibrant community is recognised for creating new standards in the media industry. However, it is imperative that we go beyond that and inspire a sense of purpose in our media ecosystem. In this year of giving, we will explore various collaborations to continuously promote a culture of giving back to our community, enhance the spirit of volunteering among our business partners and build a prosperous future together."
