Bahrain News Agency’s (BNA) Centre for Developing Media Skills in cooperation with International Social Media Club organised a specialised training course entitled "How to assess the performance of your accounts on social media networks," with the participation of more than 16 ministries and government institutions. BNA Acting Director General, Muhannad Suleiman said that the course comes within the training plan 2013-2014 based on implementing a series of training media courses monthly in cooperation with Arab and international news agencies, as well as with relevant parties. Muhannad Suleiman highlighted that the aim of those courses was to develop the skills of the staff in the field of news agencies, and media departments in the state’s ministries. He also praised the cooperation with the international club for social media-Bahrain in forming a generation of media persons coping with the latest developments in the area of social media. The course, which was presented by the Head of the International Club for Social Media, Ali Sebkar, included the most modern methods and means in the area of assessing accounts on the social media networks. Ali Sebkar reviewed the best practices to use social networks, and their role in pointing out the image of institutions and communication with their fans.
