More than 20 photographers and media persons took part in a specialized session on digital photos editing with the Photoshop Lightroom programme. The session kicked-off today at Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) in Juffair and will continue till October 18. BJA President Mo'nes Al Mordi said more than 38 participants registered for the session which forced the association to hold it twice, this week and next week, out of keenness to ensure maximum number of photographers and media persons take advantage. He added the session was part of BJA training and vocational programme to upgrade the level of Bahraini journalists and media staff. He also pointed out that preparations are in full swing for other specialized sessions that will be conducted by a host of experts and specialists. Mr. Al Mordi called on the photographers of local newspapers, agencies and official institutions, who are wishing to take part in the session next week, to register their names via a text message, including the name and party, to be sent on 33090009. He pointed out that the session lasts for two hours every day (from 4 to 6 p.m). The last deadline for subscription is Sunday morning, October 21.
