The General Organization for Youth and Sports (Goys) is organising the Second GCC Media Forum from April 26 to May 1 under the slogan ‘The Youth Media towards a GCC Unity’.Goys, through its working committees, are sparing no efforts to prepare ideal environment for the success of this regional gathering and come out with the desired objectives.A packed programme was arranged by Goys and includes workshops and other activities in preparation for the GCC forum.On this occasion, Goys president Hisham Mohammed Al Jowder said the forum is organised in a crucial period, especially in light of having a variety of media sources that broadcast their ideas for the younger generations in the Gulf region.Al Jowder called on everyone to unite and face the challenges in the Gulf region, praising the role of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifain backing youngsters in Bahrain and the GCC, and his keenness to produce a young generation who can support the development process in the GCC.Al Jowder said the forum will develop media discourse of the young GCC citizens to become able to address the public so that they can give the true image of the Gulf region societies and contribute to support the Gulf unity among the Arabian Gulf countries as one of the steps that will contribute to boost the march of the GCC.The Goys chief paid tribute to media representatives in the GCC, who have succeeded to take the Gulf media toward development and growth, stressing that the General Organization for Youth and Sports has developed an integrated program that includes many events that would boost the forum and develop young media talents in order to move forward in the Gulf unity march.
