Anadolu Agency (AA) scanned Monday Syrian president Bashar Assad's 'last castle', the Minnig military airport, where control was seized by Syrian oppositions. Named as 'last castle' of Assad in Syrian Aleppo's north, which is controlled by oppositions after 9 months of besieging, 45 tanks, 25 helicopters and several ammunition were blasted. 15 of the point in question tanks were serviceable. Several military vehicles were destroyed in the airport, where about 300 from the opposition side died due to clashes. The airport, near Turkey's border, was seized after 3 months heavy clashes. The airport has a strategic importance. Commander of the front Abu Hamza, who carried out an operation to Minnig military airport, told AA in an exclusive interview that they dealt a blow to the regime by obtaining the significant military area in the north.
