Algerian Minister of Communications Nacer Mehal in a letter to Presidential Advisor and IRNA Managing Director Ali-Akbar Javanfekr underlined the need for further expansion of media cooperation between the two nations. In his letter, Mehal said he believed that cooperation between the two countries' mass media deserved further promotion. The Algerian minister called on both Iranian and Algerian officials to do their best to flourish bilateral relations in various fields. He reiterated that he would help promote mass media cooperation between the two countries during his term in office. Earlier IRNA chief had sent Mehal a letter of congratulations on his new assignment.
