Despite a mixed reception to the first model’s looks, the Porsche Panamera is now firm's second-best selling car. The updated Panamera looks to resemble its sporty stablemates, and these spy shots reveal a revised front-end with rounder headlights, just like the new 991-generation 911. The biggest changes will be in the bumpers, with these images showing substantial modifications, including a more pronounced rear end with bold openings below the Panamera’s tail-lamps. There are sharper edges both front and rear to keep the Panamera looking contemporary, but it's clear that the new Panamera sticks to Porsche’s design preference for evolutionary rather than radical design changes. Cabin tweaks should be minor, with mechanical improvements likely to be limited to improved efficiency. The new Panamera is set to arrive in 2013, and a minor price increase can be expected.
