Specifics of the SUV will hopefully come to the light as the Geneva Motor Show draws nearer. On the record, Bentley is "exploring the potential, but the vehicle has not been approved," according to Bentley president and COO Christophe Georges. Off the record, however, it is being rumored by Autoweek that a working concept of an SUV is being readied in time for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. With 'legitimate off-road capabilities,' the new SUV is likely to be based on the Audi Q7 platform but with a turbocharged W12 engine under the hood. The decision to approve the luxury vehicle for production should also be announced upon the concept SUV's unveiling in Geneva next month. At the very least, details about when it will come to market should be revealed. Photos displayed are renderings.
