Hyundai has released the first photos of the redesigned 2012 i20. The last time we saw the 2012 Hyundai i20 was back in mid-January.The redesigned hatchback was still undergoing testing and our spy shots revealed updated headlights and taillights along with redesigned front and rear bumpers.Hyundai has just released a pair of photos showing off the 2012 version of the i20 facelift a few days ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. In terms of length, the new i20 has grown by 55mm. 30mm has been added to the front and 25mm in the rear gives you a bit more space inside the supermini city hatch. Width, wheelbase and height remain the same. In terms of motivation, the Hyundai i20 features a best-in-class superefficient U-II diesel plant. The 1.1-liter 3-cylinder diesel motor puts out 75hp and emits an impressive 84 g/km CO2. A lightly more powerful 90hp 1.4-liter U-II diesel engine is also available. It emits slightly more CO2, measuring 96 g/km.The 2012 Hyundai i20 will be making its redesigned debut at the Geneva Motor Show, beginning tomorrow, March 6th.
