The Maserati MC12 Corsa gets a new paint job; looks fierce for the track.Photographer Philipp Lucke has captured one of only twelve Maserati MC12 Corsas left in the world. This particular racetrack version of the MC12 is the only one finished in orange, and it looks ferociously elegant.The homologated racer is perfectly-suited for track life, which is good because it isn't street legal (actually, only one has been modified for street-legal use). As a quick refresher, it was developed from the 2005 FIA GT Manufacturer's Cup-winning MC12 GT1 and the Corsa was released halfway through 2006.The mid-engine racer runs on a 745hp V12 engine and cost a hefty $1.47 million. The Maserati MC12 Corsa was originally offered only in a "Blue Victory" color.Check out the racer in its bright new color and let us know what you think about the powerful orange racer.
