Just when you thought Porsche was having a little breather following all its hard work in launching the new 911, out comes another Panamera variant – the Grand Turismo Sport. The GTS boasts more oomph than the S/4S, has better braking power too and, it’s been lowered by 10mm to help give it even better road hugging qualities. Its interior has been kitted out with sports seats, a Sport Design steering wheel and there’s lots of GTS leather and Alcantara to stroke. Most important of all is the modified 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 430bhp at 6,700rpm and 520Nm of torque. And with a PDK channeling the power to all four corners, the GTS will run the 0-100kph sprint in an impressive 4.5 seconds and top out at 288kph. It’ll do all this while sipping 10.9 litres-per-100km which isn’t bad at all.
