H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has been briefed by officials about an electric car that will be introduced in the emirate in January 2017.
The specifications of the eco-friendly vehicle and the Public Transport Corporation's strategy for the next year were explained in detail by the director-general of the corporation Omar Ahmed bin Omair during a meeting with the crown prince at Ajman Emiri Court.
Efforts are being made by the emirate's public transit agency to exploit the latest technologies and promote the use of clean energy, the official said.
H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar take a keen interest in efforts being made to execute Ajman Vision 2021 and develop the infrastructure of the transportation sector, Bin Omair noted.
Sheikh Ammar lauded the efforts being made in developing a sustainable transport sector in the emirate.
