A slight drop in temperatures is expected over the next two days Monday but warm conditions will continue to prevail in hilly areas, the plains and the Badia region, while it will be relatively hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with clouds various altitudes.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update that a chance for light showers is also forecast during the evening in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times.
Similar warm and pleasant weather conditions will continue on Wednesday in much of the country with northwesterly moderate winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will range between 27-29 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country, dropping down to 15 degrees in the capital, 7 degrees in the southern regions. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 35 degrees sliding down to 21 at night, the JMD added
