Today will be particularly hot according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
On top of that, it will also be hazy and dusty. Residents are advised of strong winds that may bring blowing dust and impede visibility along open roads.
Those living in the eastern regions can expect convective clouds to form in the skies - providing some form of reprieve form the heat.
