Ain Sokhna Port was closed over bad weather, the Red Sea Ports Authority said in a statement Thursday.
With wind speed of 25 knots and waves reaching 3 meters high, the weather is expected to impact navigation traffic, the authority's spokesman Abdel Rehim Moustafa.
The port will re-open once the weather improves, he added.
