Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Chairman of Jaffari Endowment Shaikh Mohsin Al-Asfoor and other officials. Officials representing the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) Sustainable Energy Unit were also present.
The two sides discussed a number of initiatives, including the use of solar energy in mosques and buildings, that would contribute to achieving the government’s national goals to introduce renewable energy into the community.
The minister thanked the Waqf Board of Directors for their initiative to rationalize the consumption of electricity by using solar energy. Shaikh Mohsen Al-Asfour and the other visitors thanked the minister Mirza and officials for their continuous cooperation with all government institutions in an effort to improve the quality of services.
