Egypt's Petroleum Minister Sherif Ismael ratified on Friday two concession agreements signed with British BP (BP.L) and the Italian Eni (S.p.A) oil companies earlier this month.
Chairman of the state-owned Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) said the deals aim to develop 110 trillion cubic feet of gas resources to produce 100 million barrels a day.
Production s expected to begin in 2016.
