Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza asserted that the participation of Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) in in Bahrain International Garden Show currently being held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), Chairperson of the National Initiative for the Development of the Agricultural Sector Advisory Board and Honorary President of the Bahrain International Garden Show Supreme Organizing Committee on February 24-28 at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC) emanates from EWA's keenness on availing from its presence at public exhibitions that provide the opportunity to meet with the public and to spread the culture of awareness about the importance of preservation, rationalization and sustainability of natural resources for future generations.
The minister visited EWA's pavilion manned by a number of specialists who provide informative instruction and advice related to electricity and water resources saving methods to consumers of both vital resources.
The minister urged the public to avail of this opportunity and to visit EWA pavilion to meet its EWA engineers and to obtain awareness publications to be able to effectively contribute to preservation of the kingdom's resources and to sustain them for future generations which will directly reflect in reducing customers' monthly electricity and water bills whenever they followed the optimum methods.
