The Head of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) Mahmoud Saqer announced that the Egyptian-Chinese laboratory for researches in the new energy field will be implemented soon.
In statements on Saturday after returning from the Chinese capital Beijing, Saqer said that he and his accompanying delegation during his official visit to China followed up the implementation of the agreement inked between Egypt and China to establish the joint laboratory.
The agreement was signed during the visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Asian country in December, Saqer underscored.
The venture will be established in around one year in Sohag's Koraman island.
