The UAE today participated in the 28th meeting of the Council of Arab Environment Ministers, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo.
Dr. Saad Mohamed Al Numairi, Minister's Advisor at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, led the UAE delegation that included Fatima Al Hammadi, Environment Researcher at the ministry.
The agenda of the meeting includes 28 items topped by the follow-up of the implementation of resolutions of the United Nations Environment Assembly, Arab preparation for the Assembly to be held in November 2017, and following-up Arab implementation of international environmental conventions on desertification, biodiversity, chemical resources and hazardous waste.
