President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting Monday with Abdel Aziz Saif el-Deen, head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), and Dr. Amr Zakaria Hamuoda, a professor at the National Institute of Oceanography, to discuss ways to develop fisheries.
The meeting touched upon challenges facing the increase of fish production, said Spokesman for the Presidency Alaa Yousef.
Sisi underlined the importance of taking advantage of Egyptian water resources through increasing fish production, and developing means of fish farming along with following the latest global systems to fulfill the needs of citizens.
Sisi called for preparing an integrated plan to achieve these objectives.
