Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday received Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Hossam Moghazi to review the ministry's strategy to cope with climate change, particularly with regard to ways of dealing with some of the adverse climatic phenomena, especially the sea-level rise and the increase of the temperatures overall average.
The meeting also dealt with the ongoing negotiations between Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
The minister briefed Sisi on recent developments in this regard, in the preparation of the Egyptian participation in the next six-party meeting of Foreign and irrigation ministers of the three countries.
