Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the UAE President’s Initiatives Committee, today inspected the progress in the work of environmental projects being carried out by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment across the UAE.
The projects, which were discussed during a meeting attended by senior officials, include a hatchery at the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Marine Research Centre in Umm Al Qaiwain, a plan to rehabilitate landfills across the UAE, and a biofuel plant in Umm Al Qaiwain.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Rashid Saeed Al Ameri, Under-Secretary for Government Coordination Sector at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, and Ali Jasim Al Mazrouei, director of the office of the UAE President’s Initiatives Committee, attended the meeting.
