Weather analyst Abdullah Al-Harbi has said that the north of the Kingdom is expected to witness severe cold with rain and snow.
He added that northern areas will experience strong currents from eastern Turkey and the Black Sea. Heavy rain is forecast for areas of the Kingdom as far north as Tabuk as well as in Al-Jouf and parts of the Eastern Province.
Al-Harbi noted that rain is expected to commence on Friday evening and will continue until Sunday morning with the chance of snowfall on Friday evening in Allowz, Al-Thuhr, Alqan and Al-Sharf mountains. Snow could also spread to reach east Tabuk.
