Matrouh Governor Major General Alaa Abu Zeid said his governorate has completed all preparations to receive Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Monday on a two-day visit.
The minister of local development, oil, health, culture, military production and urban development will accompany Mahlab during the visit.
Mahlab will held a popular conference to be attended by chieftains and security, executive and religious leaders to be briefed on their demands for promoting economic, tourism and investment fields in the governorate, the governor said.
He will also inaugurate MISR Public Library, which was built on 3,290 square meters at a cost of EGP 36 million, the governor added.
The prime minister will also tour slums in Marsa Matrouh, as the Urban Development Ministry allocated EGP 5 million to develop those areas, before heading for Salloum port to meet with Egyptians fleeing Libya.
