Kuwait's Ambassador to Albania Najib Abdulrahman Al-Bader has discussed with Albania's Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Resources Edmond Panariti bilateral relations and the ways of promoting them, notably the agricultural one.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the possibility of enhancing agricultural cooperation between the two countries, especially as Albania has huge potentials in this field, the embassy said in a statement received by KUNA Wednesday.
Talks also focused on the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aiming at enhancing cooperation to meet the common aspirations and objectives of the two peoples, it noted.
On his part, Panariti commended the current bilateral cooperation and urged at the same time the Kuwaiti private sector to upgrade opportunities of agricultural investment to serve the interests of the two governments.
The minister stressed his eagerness to find an effective partnership in the field of agricultural investment that would contribute to developing this domain in Albania.
He expressed his confidence that signing a MoU will open new horizons of bilateral cooperation in trade, agriculture and other fields as well as share expertise.
