His Majesty King Abdullah II stressed the need to put measures to create an attractive investment climate in order to overcome the challenges facing this vital sector.
At a meeting today with President of Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) Montaser Okla in the presence of Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, His Majesty said that improving the investment sector and creating a proper investment climate, will push the development process forward and contribute to addressing the problems of poverty and unemployment that would reflect positively on citizens’ standards of living.
The King also stressed the need to work with all concerned parties to enhance the investment climate in the Kingdom.
The meeting also focused on the JIC’s working programs, its role to attract investments into the Kingdom as well as endorsing laws and regulations related to investment. President of the JIC spoke about the commission’s work mechanism, its objectives as well as its 2015 national strategy for investment.
