Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hossm Al Moghazi and Aswan Governor Mostafa Youssri opened on Saturday the technical security systems of the High Dam after it has been developed at a total cost of EGP 3.5 million to fully secure the entrances and exits of the dam.
During his tour of the dam, the minister witnessed the operation of two irrigation gates which pump 40 million cubic meters daily.
In statements on Saturday, the minister said his tour of Aswan started with the inspection of the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Monument.
