H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor has directed the authorities concerned to take necessary measures to develop the permanent cruise terminal at Mina Zayed in Abu Dhabi.
He issued these instructions during his visit to the proposed cruise terminal sight, where he was briefed on a number of the proposals concerning to the project. The Abu Dhabi Ports Company, ADPC, has invited an elite of international architecture companies to design the terminal.
On his part, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and ADPC Chairman extended thanks to Sheikh Hazza for his constant follow up and directives in this regard, highlighting the important role played by the Mina Zayed in the U.A.E.'s cultural boom.
"The founder of the U.A.E., late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan inaugurated the Port 40 years ago, since then it has become one of the most important economic gateways of Abu Dhabi and the new permanent cruise terminal at Mina Zayed is a completion of the company's important role in the development of the Emirate," Dr. Sultan added.
