The Human Appeal International, HAI, has completed the drilling of two Artesian wells in Sudan valued at a cost of about Dh 400,000 to serve approximately five thousand people.
Obaid Al Matrooshi, Deputy Secretary-General of the HAI, said in a statement on the occasion that the drilling of wells is "one of the basic strategic projects of the HAI and we are implementing them as per the directives of our wise leadership to provide and carry out water projects around the world." He pointed to the continuation of HAI's work to provide more wells so as to support people's stability and enhance the UAE leadership's charitable and humanitarian position in the region.
