Egypt's Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, headed on Thursday for Jeddah to partake in the 26th session of the Arab environment minister's council.
The session, which is chaired by chairman of the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) Abdulaziz Al-Jasser, would begin from November 8 to 10.
The session would follow up the implementation of the decisions issued by the previous session including, the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit's decisions and the decisions of the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the minister said.
The session would tackle the possibility of using the green economy in Arab countries as well as methods of implementing the Arab strategy to relieve the disasters risk, according to Fahmy.
