Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Sunday approved the Ministry of Agriculture's plan for the agro-sustainable development as part of the government's program to be floated to the coming parliament in its first session after formation.
This came during the premier's visit to the Ministry of Agriculture premises in Giza's district of Dokki where he met with Minister of Agriculture Essam Fayed in the presence of Planning Minister Sherif el Arabi and the agriculture ministry staff.
The meeting reviewed the items included in the agricultural development plan and the key issues and problems facing the Egyptian farmers.
The plan also included the ministry's strategy till 2030 as well as studies made on the project to cultivate some 1.5 feddans that will be carried out in cooperation with ministries concerned.
