A scheduled visit by Agriculture Minister Salah Helal to Sudan was postponed to April 20.
The two-day visit was due to start on Tuesday.
Egypt's ambassador to Sudan Osama Shaltout said the postponement decision cams as a result of the minister's busy schedule as well as the holding of the Sudanese general elections, due to start tomorrow.
He added that this visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to bolster ties with Sudan in all fields, especially in the agricultural domain.
