Egypt is trying to reach a compromise with the Nile Basin countries which results in a win-win situation, said Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazy.
Speaking at a seminar held in Cairo on Tuesday, the minister said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is ensuring special control over the Nile water-related issues.
He added that his ministry would continue its crackdown to remove encroachments on the Nile nationwide.
The seminar is part of the ongoing campaign "Save the Nile" which aims at clearing all the encroachments on the Nile.
