A 9-metre-long whale, belonging to the dolphin species, was found dead on the beach 7 km away Bin Jawad , the Head of the Coast Guard Saleh Qabaeli said on Wednesday. Qabaeli said that it is the first time that whales of that species appear in the area. The mammal had long sharp teeth and huge built, and it is considered one of the most violent creatures in the ocean. It is assumed that the sea waves carried to the beach in Bin Jawad. Bin Jawad overlooks the Mediterranean and is situated between Sirte in the west and Ras Lanuf in the east. The city is famous for its wonderful location between the mountain and the sea.
