The central operations room of the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) continued to follow up the repercussions of the bad whether that hit the country during the past hours in implementation of directives of the prime minister.
The room, in a statement on Tuesday, pointed out that the governorates of Cairo and Giza witnessed heavy rains during the past hours but the rains did not affect the traffic movement or roads or bridges.
Other governorates including Alexandria also witnessed rains but less than Cairo and Giza, said the statement, adding that the room also was following up the repercussions of the rains on the ports and airports across the country.
