Three companies have been warned over their factories' harmful waste, said the environment minister on Saturday.
The firms, producing petrochemical, sodium and textile products, were given two months to settle their conditions or their factories will be shut down, said Khaled Fahmy.
The plants are based in Alexandria where the minister had a meeting with senior officials on the issue.
