Nobu Hospitality, owned by Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Hollywood star Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, has signed an agreement to manage a luxury hotel in Riyadh. The deal with Dhaliliyah Investments will see the Nobu Hotel Riyadh opening in 2013, the company said in a statement. As its first luxury boutique hotel in the kingdom the Nobu Hotel Riyadh will house a Nobu restaurant, it said, adding that the hotel would be run by a joint venture called Saudi Nobu. "We are looking forward to creating a luxurious and elegant hotel which will become a destination for the local community and visitors alike," said Dr Mashary, managing director of Dhaliliyah. "The reputation of Nobu Hospitality as an iconic international brand, renowned for its hospitality creations, makes it an ideal partner for us." Trevor Horwell, chief executive of Nobu Hospitality, added: "We are thoroughly proud to be bringing our renowned levels of hospitality to Riyadh. "This development, in the prominent King Fahd district, presents an ideal opportunity to further establish our growing luxury brand and group on a global platform." By / Arabian Business
