QVC has announced a unique collaboration with the Museum of London, marking the first time a UK museum has licensed a TV shopping retailer to use its collection or brand. QVC has created a replica collection of some of the world’s finest Elizabethan and early Stuart jewels and gemstones from The Cheapside Hoard. Opening on 11 October, 'The Cheapside Hoard: London’s Lost Jewels' exhibition at the museum will showcase a collection of jewellery, featuring Byzantine cameos, garnets, diamonds, amethysts and sapphires, which were unexpectedly discovered beneath a cellar floor over 100 years ago in Cheapside. QVC's replica range will include necklaces, pendants, rings and earrings, all crafted in sterling silver and coated in 14ct gold. Prices range from £79 to £469 and the collection will be available to buy exclusively from qvcuk.com from 3 September and also from the Museum of London gift shop throughout the exhibition.
