The well-known Egyptian actor Yehia El Fakharany told Arabstoday: “my role in ‘Foreigner Abdel Kader’ is that of a wealthy Englishman living in Egypt during the English occupation. Despite being British, he coexists with Egyptian society and respected its customs and traditions. El-Fakharany explains that the series acts as a metaphor for cultural rapprochement and seeks peace between people "all over the world.” He added that the reason he accepted the role was because of its message, which, he says "confirms that not all people from invading countries are satisfied with what their leader and presidents do.” Actor Yehia El Fakharany is an Egyptian artist who is famous for his roles in many successful dramas during the Ramadan season each year, notably last year's series ‘Sheikh of Arabs, Hammam’.
