Actor Tom Berenger is to guest star in three episodes of the Los Angeles drama series "Major Crimes" this summer, TNT announced. The show is to kick off its second season in June. Berenger is best known for his work in the films "Inception," "Platoon," "The Big Chill," "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Major League." He was recently seen in the television miniseries "Hatfields & McCoys." "In 'Major Crimes,' Berenger will play Capt. Sharon Raydor's estranged husband of 25 years, Jackson Raydor," TNT said in a news release. "A brilliant lawyer, Jackson has taken a long break from working to follow his real passion, gambling, but he returns to Los Angeles to work as a court-appointed attorney. Charming and charismatic, Jackson becomes fast friends with Rusty but Sharon continues to remain wary." Mary McDonnell plays Sharon and Graham Patrick Martin plays Rusty on the series.
