CBS' The Big Bang Theory and The Good Wife led the field in nominations for the Critics' Choice Television Awards, which were announced Wednesday.
The Big Bang Theory was nominated for best comedy series, best actor in a comedy series for Jim Parsons and best guest performer in a comedy series for James Earl Jones, and two nods for best supporting actress in a comedy series for Mayim Bialik and Kaley Cuoco.
Parsons faces Louis CK in Louie, Chris Messina in The Mindy Project, Thomas Middleditch in Silicon Valley, Adam Scott in Parks and Recreation, and Robin Williams in The Crazy Ones in the best actor in a comedy series category.
Other series nominated in the best comedy category are Broad City, Louie, Orange is the New Black, Silicon Valley and Veep.
The Good Wife also got five nods for best drama, best actress in a drama for Julianna Margulies, best supporting actor in a drama for Josh Charles, best supporting actress in a drama for Christine Baranski and best guest performer in a drama series for Carrie Preston.
Marguiles faces Lizzy Caplan in Masters of Sex, Vera Farmiga in Bates Hotel, Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black, Keri Russell in The Americans and Robin Wright in House of Cards in the best actress in a drama category.
Other best drama nominees include The Americans, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Masters of Sex and True Detective.
The Critics' Choice TV Awards air for the first time on broadcast television at 8 p.m. EST June 19 on the CW.
