The quintessential queen of celebrity talk shows, Simi Garewal, is all set for her small screen comeback with Simi Selects India's Most Desirable, which will be aired on June 12, with B-wood toppers John Abraham, Ranbir Kapoor, IPL star Siddharth Mallya and Hollywood A-lister Freida Pinto, making it onto the guest list for the first show. The veteran actress’s earlier colour-coded (everything from her costumes to the set was white!) talk show Rendezvous With Simi Garewal, featuring many famous names and headline-makers, aired from 1997 through 2007 and was a huge hit. It was taken off-air after Simi felt she was getting bored with the show and wanted to work on a new concept. And this time around, the lady in white, is hoping to reinvent her style and colour-code (it’s all black this time!) with her all-new show. “It is about [the stars’] real selves… It’s about how good a companion they make,” reveals Simi of her all-star guest line-up.. Adding that her show will introduce a new element, wherein drawings of her celeb guests will be auctioned for charity at the end of each show. Here’s hoping Simi’s husky-toned 15-episode revelations will be far more juicer than Karan Johar’s silly celeb bickering.
