Lebanese singer Rola Saad is back this Ramadan with a new series of "El Bahr Wel Atshana" (The Sea and the Thirsty). Rola told "Al Rai" newspaper that she's happy to get back to acting, especially that she thinks the project is a worthwhile one with political and social dimensions. Rola plays the role of a girl with a Lebanese father and Egyptian mother. She lives in Lebanon and returns to Egypt when her father passes away to find her mother. The series also displays the political and social aspects of Egypt before the January 2011 revolution. Rola was in various acting roles at the beginning of her career, but her most prominent was in the film "El Gharda'a 707" (Hurghada 707) in 2007. From: Anayou
