Television actress Ratan Rajput has found her life-partner in Abhinav Sharma after he wooed her incessantly in the reality show Swayamwar Season 3-Ratan Ka Rishta. However, the couple has decided to wait before tying the knot. ‘The kind of life partner I had dreamt of…. Abhinav fits into it. During the show we, have discussed about leading a simple life and how would we be able to manage. So we have decided to just get engaged and spend sometime together and will get married in some time,' said Ratan after choosing her groom. The Delhi-based software Engineer Sharma, 26, outdid eager suitors including Poland-based Anupam Singh Kushwah and Jammu-based Deepak Pandit in the final round. Article continues below "Ratan has taken this decision for me. We had discussed this before during the show 'We are engaged' and Ratan understands my situation. We are engaged," said an ecstatic Sharma. At the start of the show, Ratan - known for her role as Laali in the drama Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo - had received as many as 54,863 wedding proposals and 16 out of them were chosen to battle it out on the small screen. The reality show has also seen the likes of Rakhi Sawant, the outspoken Bollywood actress, choose their partners in similar fashion.
