"Twin Peaks" and "Desperate Housewives" veteran Kyle MacLachlan is to star in "Made in Jersey," a new U.S. legal drama, CBS said. The series is to premiere Sept. 28. "After voicing her opinion in a company staff meeting, Martina makes a good impression on her boss, Donovan Stark, who assigns her third chair on a murder case involving a student accused of killing her professor," the network said in a news release. "Meanwhile, at home, Martina's niece comes to her to help convince her mother to allow her to get a tattoo." Janet Montgomery plays Martina and MacLachlan plays Donovan. Rounding out the cast are Kristoffer Polaha, Megalyn Echikunwoke,Toni Trucks, Erin Cummings and Felix Solis.
