Prominent Syrian actress Jumana Murad will enter her second acting experience with Egyptian director Khaled Yousif by starring in the new film that is based on the popular novel “Awlad Haritna” (The children of the neighborhood) by the late legendary author Najeeb Mahfouz. The first film Jumana starred in for Khaled was “Kaf Al Qamar”, which was screened in November 2011. According to the London based Elaph, Jumana will also be starring in another film titled “Julia”. She will begin filming the first scenes once all initial preparations are complete. Jumana has not yet decided on a television drama to star in for the Ramadan season of 2012. She has been presented with several scripts and is hoping to make her decision in the near future. The actress is currently travelling between Dubai and Beirut to film the episodes for the new television program “Top Chef”,which marks her first time as a TV host. The new show will be aired on the Lebanese satellite channel LBC.
