Kelly Clarkson and Michael Buble are to star in a pair of upcoming hour-long U.S. holiday specials, NBC announced Friday. Clarkson's as-yet-untitled program will be based loosely on Charles Dickens' classic novel "A Christmas Carol." Buble's special will feature him singing some of his most popular songs in an intimate setting. He also will invite some of his favorite guest performers, the network said. "These two immensely talented Grammy Award-winning artists will be the perfect addition to the holiday season," Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming for NBC Entertainment, said in a statement. "We are looking forward to bringing their signature sounds into America's homes."
